What data we process
We only process data you give us yourself, or data needed for the website to work:
- Name, address, email address and phone number, when you create an account, place an order or contact us.
- Order and payment details, such as the products ordered and the chosen payment method.
- Technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, for the security and operation of the website.
Why we process this data
- To process your order and deliver it or have it ready for pickup.
- To answer your questions, for example about price and availability.
- To meet legal obligations, such as the tax retention requirement.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We never sell your data to third parties and do not use it for automated decision-making.
How long we keep data
We do not keep data longer than necessary. Order and invoice data is kept for seven years because of the Dutch tax retention requirement. Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Messages about questions are kept for up to one year.
Sharing with others
We only share data when this is necessary for our services or required by law. This includes our payment provider for iDEAL payments, the service that sends our email and our hosting provider. We have agreements with these parties about the security of your data.
If you contact us through WhatsApp or Facebook, the privacy terms of those services also apply.
Cookies
Our website uses functional cookies that are needed for things like the shopping cart, the language choice and remembering your cookie preference. We only place other cookies if you give permission through the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
Security
We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (https).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to processing, restrict processing or ask for your data to be transferred. Send your request to info@aquamagic.nl. We will respond within one month.
Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
